Description
So this is a very cool wine produced on the Iland of Sardinia from the Cannonau grape. Elsewhere this grape is known as Grenache but the sols and climate of Sardinia lend a unique twist to the grape. It has a much darker fruit profile than we ususally see in Grenache and the bolcanic soils add elements of mionerals to the wine which adds complexity. This is a full bodied, dark, smooth wine that begs for grilled meats, robust pasta dishes or full flavored cheeses.
