LOCATIONS F ROSE

The Locations Wines are the project of Dave Phinney who first became famous for his "Prisoner" wine under the Orin Swift label. He sold the Prisoner brand and set out to produce a range of wines from around the world, hence the "Locations" name. In his usual eccentric manner he reused to divulge the grapes in each of these wines but they are all blends. We carry the I ,F, E and OR wines and now the F Rose. My guess is that this is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, it is made in the typical Phinney style, big, rich and powerful. If you are looking for finesse in a Rose avoid this, however if you like a full flavored Rose that drinks like a red wine then try it.
